When you move to Spain, to do just about anything, you will find that you need to complete a form. The first and most important application you will need to complete is for your NIE number. You will need this for everything from buying a house or car to getting a telephone installed. Often, the estate agent or other business you are dealing with will offer to help you get the registration you require but you may want to handle the process yourself. If you are fluent in Spanish this can be an easy matter, depending on the application you are making. If not it can be costly to get a translator to do the job for you. We are translating into English, all the important forms you are likely to need. This will enable you to either handle the applications yourself or at very least understand exactly what you are signing during the process.
